In general, I do not rely on the Wikipedia as a source, though I may use it to find pointers to original sources. Since I have contributed to the la Maupin article on Wikipedia, and other contributors have borrowed from my pages, occasionally even citing them, using it as a source would be somewhat circular.

I have used it as a source for public domain pictures.
