If I may, let me make one small but possibly significant correction to the translation of this source from your old site. Parfaict writes:

"Mlle Maupin n'étoit (modern spelling: n'était) pas d'une grande taille, mais elle étoit très jolie.."

which translates to: "Mlle Maupin was not very tall, but she was very pretty..." The "not" part seems to have gotten left out of the translation.

I've fixed it. I really should bring the translation over here and get it completed and polished, but at least it's fixed there.
