Biography

Louis de Lorraine-Harcourt-Armagnac (1641-1718).

His titles include Comte d'Armagnac, Comte de Charny, Comte de Brionne, and Vicomte de Marsan. He was a knight of the Order of the King, and as well as Master of the Horse, his offices included seneschal of Bourgogne and governor of Anjou. His wife was Catherine de Neufville, and he had 14 children, including Henry, the Count de Brionne; Prince Camille; Louis, the Baillif of Lorraine; and Prince Charles, who succeeded his father as Count d' Armagnac and Master of the Horse.
